The Clayton Historic Museum is located at 29 East Avenue.   Museum is handicap accessible.  Admission is free, however, donations are welcome.  The museum is also open by appointment; please call 856-881-3039.

     The Clayton Historic Museum is open to the public on the third Saturday of each  month.  Our visiting hours are 1:00 PM through 3:00 PM.

     The Clayton Historic Museum will be CLOSED in December, 2017 so that our staff may enjoy the Holidays with their families.  We look forward to seeing you at the Museum in January, 2018 and the 3rd Saturday of each month. Also, there WILL BE NO meeting for the Clayton Historic Advisory and Clayton Historic Preservation in December, 2017.



      If you have a keen interest in local history, CHP is looking for volunteers to assist us to collect and catalog personal papers, local business and organization records, photographs, early maps, genealogies, church histories, family Bibles, Civil War sketches and history books, newspapers, artifacts and much more. Our museum archival holdings total over 100 linear feet of materials, dating from circa 1850 to present. Please contact us at  Written communication may be mailed to P. O.
