The Clayton Historic Museum is located at 29 East Avenue.   Museum is handicap accessible.  Admission is free, however, donations are welcome.  The museum is also open by appointment; please call 856-881-3039.

New Summer Hours, 2017


     Starting June, 2017, the Clayton Historic Museum, at 29 East Avenue, will change its visiting hours from every Saturday to being  open on the third Saturday of each summer month.


     We will be open June 10th to help celebrate Clayton Day. After that, the Museum will open  July 15th and August 19th. Our hours will remain the same at 1:00 PM through 3:00 PM.



      If you have a keen interest in local history, CHP is looking for volunteers to assist us to collect and catalog personal papers, local business and organization records, photographs, early maps, genealogies, church histories, family Bibles, Civil War sketches and history books, newspapers, artifacts and much more.
